Job description

At PAM UK, we are looking for a Communications professional to join our People and Culture team. The role will be responsible for shaping and implementing our internal communications strategy, focusing on employee engagement through impactful communications.

You'll be producing high-level communications in multiple media including social media, videos, and newsletters. We're also looking for someone to bring fresh, new, and exciting ideas for implementing new ways of communication, assisting with our talent attraction, engagement, and retention. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in developing and executing internal communication strategies, as well as the ability to craft compelling narratives. Experience within employee engagement would also be advantageous.

There will be a requirement to create and deliver communications to a broad audience, across different roles and locations, including but not limited to desk-based computer users, plant operatives, and remote-based teams.

Your role will be key to supporting the People Experience Manager to deliver on our overall People Strategy, focusing on employee engagement and experience.

There is the option to work from home part of the week; however, the role will require a significant presence at our office (NG8 6PX), and from time to time, you'll be required to attend our sites in Holwell and Ilkeston, as well as supporting Hambaker Pipelines in Manchester.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that is aligned with business objectives and our overall people strategy.
  • Create dynamic and interesting communications tailored for various stakeholders within and outside of the organization.
  • Play a key role in the company's digital transformation journey, leveraging technology and AI for enhanced communication.
  • Work closely with our people and marketing teams to align a consistent and unified brand image.
