Music Teacher – Pickering
Location: Pickering
Salary: £140 - £180 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Pickering. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for music.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach practical and theoretical aspects of music, including composition and performance.
• Support students in developing their musical skills across various instruments and styles.
• Organise and contribute to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Music department.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
• Ability to play and teach multiple instruments is an advantage.
• A passion for music and the ability to inspire students.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
