Chef De Partie | Monday to Friday | 7am-3pm

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £28,794
Hours: 40h per week

A private co-educational day school situated in Mottingham, southeast London for students aged 7 - 18 years, catering for just under 1500 students and teachers offering a core feeding of Lunch and lots of high-end hospitality. This is a term time contract and additional benefits of this location include free parking.

We are looking for a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in London.

You will have previous experience working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level and be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
  • Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards.
  • Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.

You will have the following skills:

  • A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
  • An all-round team player.

  • An organised Chef with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the basics of food cost and wastage.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.
