Our digital mortgage broking business is growing rapidly, helping customers who are struggling with affordability to find a way to buy their first home. We recently acquired a savings company to help us capture customers earlier in their home buying journey, nurture them through saving for a deposit and ultimately to match them with the best mortgage product to get them onto the ladder more quickly. Our savings business is growing very rapidly and we’ve recently launched a Cash ISA to complement our existing Lifetime ISA products. We have huge plans for new products and innovation in the future.

About the job

We’re looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Lead to help us deliver huge growth in both our mortgage and savings app business. You will develop creative, engaging campaigns across our key digital channels that position Tembo as the best place for first-time buyers to buy their home sooner.

The role will entail:

  • Designing, managing and executing user acquisition campaigns across paid media channels (Facebook, Google, TikTok etc) with significant budget
  • Monitoring performance and continuously optimising campaigns using data-led insights
  • Managing the tracking, analysis, and reporting of growth activity
  • Working closely with our small but mighty marketing team to deliver on our huge growth goals

Experience and skills

  • 6+ years’ experience in B2C growth/performance marketing ideally with at least: 3+ years managing search and paid social campaigns and 3+ years managing app acquisition campaigns
  • An expert in Meta, Google and TikTok’s ad platforms
  • Deep understanding of attribution models, conversion tracking, and A/B testing
  • Experience with MMPs like Appsflyer
  • Experience in a B2C product-led business, driving growth to an app alongside a website
  • Organised and process-driven - you want to test the right things in the right order
  • Obsessed with data analysis - you don’t make decisions based on gut feel
  • Comfortable with both day-to-day execution & strategic thinking
  • A team player who cares about collaboration - you’ll get the team behind your initiatives
  • Collaborative, with exceptional communication skills
  • Mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
