Makower Architects is seeking an architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Makower Architects is offering a rare opportunity to join a renowned international team working on a UK based project of significant ambition, including spanning architecture interior design to urban design sector. This transformative project, currently in the planning stages, seeks to redefine urban living and create a vibrant, sustainable community in the city of London.

We are looking for an architect or an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant with a passion for innovative design and the skills to contribute meaningfully to a project of this quality.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. proven experience with residential projects, either in the UK or globally
  2. interior design experience is a benefit
  3. advanced expertise in Revit/BIM
  4. a strong portfolio demonstrating RIBA Stages 0–3 experience (or equivalent)
  5. knowledge of technical housing standards NDSS, London Housing Design Guide and Part M (or equivalent)
  6. mixed-use and residential experience, including residential layouts, accommodation schedules, and interest in interior design, master planning, sustainability and landscape design
  7. exceptional 3D design skills. Ability to produce high-quality renders and illustrative images and familiarity with Enscape is a bonus
  8. advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  9. strong spoken and written English
  10. right to work in the UK
