MOT Tester Required for Independent Garage

Salary: Basic Salary £40,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8AM - 5.30PM

Weekends: OFF

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough inspections and tests on vehicles to assess their roadworthiness.
2. Complete MOT certifications and maintain accurate testing records.
3. Identify defects or issues and provide detailed reports to customers.
4. Offer expert advice and recommendations on necessary repairs to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
5. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
6. Stay updated on the latest regulations and standards related to MOT testing.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Proven experience as an MOT Tester with an in-depth understanding of vehicle testing procedures.
2. Valid MOT Testing licence and relevant certifications.
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
4. Excellent communication skills to explain issues and recommendations clearly to customers.
5. Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
6. A team-player attitude with a commitment to providing top-notch service.
