Machine Operative

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Machine Operators to work with one of their well-established clients in the Crumlin area.

Role duties:

1. Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
2. A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring
3. If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis
4. Manual handling to include stacking pallets, wrapping, and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
5. General cleaning around workstation
6. Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
7. Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
8. Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)

Essential requirements:

1. Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role
2. Injection Moulding experience preferred
3. Own transport due to location
4. To provide own safety boots (hi-vis will be provided)

Working hours:

1. Continentals
2. 4 on 4 off
3. 12-hour shifts
4. Overtime paid at both 125% and 150%
5. You will start training on a day shift then will follow on a 2 day 2 night shift pattern

Pay:

£11.69 per hour, plus £45 attendance bonus for attending all requested hours.
