Building Surveyor – Join a Growing Business Group Specialising in Insurance Work with Flexibility!

A progressive business group is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join one of their property divisions, based in their Milton Keynes office. This role offers the opportunity to specialise in insurance-based projects while enjoying a flexible working pattern and significant autonomy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor who is looking to grow into a niche sector, developing expertise in residential and insurance-based construction projects.

The Successful Building Surveyor’s Role

The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will manage a diverse client portfolio across central and north London. The role includes delivering construction projects on residential properties and managing insurance-related works of varying sizes.

This is a role that allows for independence, offering the chance to take ownership of your projects while benefiting from ongoing support and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage construction projects on residential and insurance-based properties.
  2. Deliver all aspects of surveying services with a high degree of autonomy.
  3. Maintain and build strong client relationships.
  4. Provide expert advice and deliver high-quality reports.
The Ideal Building Surveyor
  1. MRICS qualified (preferred).
  2. Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent RICS-accredited qualification.
  3. Experience in a construction-focused practice delivering surveying services.
  4. Client-facing with excellent communication skills.
  5. Strong report writing abilities.
  6. Interest or experience in insurance-based work (preferred).
In Return?
  1. Salary: £55,000 – £65,000.
