Job description

At Key Health, we pride ourselves on the relationships we have built with our clients, aiming to support them with their needs in a timely and professional manner.

We are currently recruiting Senior Healthcare Assistants/Senior Support Workers for ongoing work across Hull (HU3). Staff will be recruited on a temporary to permanent basis, with a probation period of 12 weeks before moving across permanently.

Role:

  • You will provide person-centred support and care to people with support needs at our inter-generational extra care service in Hull. This includes providing respectful personal care, emotional and practical support with daily activities and living tasks. You will supervise staff and deploy staff time efficiently in line with service user needs and preferences.
  • You will collaborate with service users, families, and involved professionals to maximise outcomes for service users.
  • You will assist senior staff in the coordination and operational management of the service to ensure that service user needs, preferences, and contract requirements are met.

We require:

  • At least two years’ experience in providing care and support to older people.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship).
  • Ability to provide 2 references (one from current or most recent employer).
  • Enhanced DBS that is on the update service (Desirable).
  • Supervisory experience and/or ability to supervise staff (Desirable).

Hours:

Full time - 37.5 hours per week to be worked flexibly according to a rota and to include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Salary:

Weekday: £14.90 per hour
Night/Weekend: £15.25 per hour.
