We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join our client based in Milton Keynes. Our client is proud to be part of making ground-breaking discoveries in scientific research with the opportunity to work hands-on with animals in a dynamic research facility where every day brings the chance to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain live virus vaccine equipment
  • Champion safety and compliance by participating in Safe by Choice discussions and hazard identification
  • Support EHS initiatives, cooperating with management on compliance actions
  • Execute production plans in collaboration with the Lead Technician
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, including cycle counts and stock returns
  • Maintain and verify accurate production records in line with GMP requirements
  • Operate in GMP environments, handling sterilization, blending, and filling equipment
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning
  • Contribute to deviation investigations, change control, and corrective actions
  • Provide on-the-job training and participate in daily production planning
  • Manage reporting and task delegation during absences or offsite work

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • A-levels in Science based subjects
  • Strong experience using SAP
  • Experience with following Standard Operating Procedures
  • Basic computer skills using Word, Outlook, and Excel
