The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team, within the workshop in Cambridge. The role’s main focus will be to fabricate, repair and maintain medical devices for prosthetics and/or orthotics that are issued within the department to patients. Ideally, we would like someone with experience in prosthetic and orthotic manufacture but will also accept those wishing to start in the industry as a trainee.
The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement service improvements for the betterment of patients in Cambridge. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first-class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
