Job description

Formby Hockey Club is looking for a Men’s 1st team coach. Formby’s first men’s team currently plays in the North West Men’s Premier league.

Formby Hockey Club has 4 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams along with a growing junior section.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented coach to help get the most out of the men’s side of the club, along with structuring training sessions for the men’s first and second team.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role is a paid position which includes but is not limited to:

1. Lead coaching plans and sessions for training on Tuesdays 7-9pm.
2. Coach the Men’s 1st team for friendly and league games both home and away.
3. Develop youth players.

Requirements:

1. Ideally must have level 2 in coaching.
2. Completed a child safeguarding workshop or willing to take one before starting the role.

Pay is competitive and will be linked to experience and coaching qualifications.
