The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth across solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and maintenance services.
- Identify and engage with potential clients in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors (B2B opportunities).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, understanding their energy needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online channels.
- Attend site visits and client meetings to discuss project requirements and offer solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the business's overall growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions through CRM software.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
- Ensure timely turnaround of quotes and diligent follow-up with clients and the team.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the renewable energy, electrical services, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, EV charging infrastructure, and electrical maintenance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work towards financial targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
- Full UK driving license.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Industry certifications or experience in the renewable energy sector would be advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of solar, battery storage, and EV charging solutions.
- Familiarity with UK Renewable Energy Policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
