Job description

Involve Recruitment are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in solar energy, battery storage, EV charging, and electrical maintenance. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth across solar PV, battery storage, EV charging, and maintenance services.
  2. Identify and engage with potential clients in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors (B2B opportunities).
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, understanding their energy needs and offering tailored solutions.
  4. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online channels.
  5. Attend site visits and client meetings to discuss project requirements and offer solutions.
  6. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
  7. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  8. Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  9. Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the business's overall growth.
  10. Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions through CRM software.
  11. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates.
  12. Ensure timely turnaround of quotes and diligent follow-up with clients and the team.
  13. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Key Skills & Experience:
  1. Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the renewable energy, electrical services, or related industries.
  2. Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, EV charging infrastructure, and electrical maintenance.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  5. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and client engagement.
  6. Strong commercial acumen and ability to work towards financial targets.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  8. Experience using CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
  9. Full UK driving license.
Qualifications:
  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  2. Industry certifications or experience in the renewable energy sector would be advantageous.
  3. Technical knowledge of solar, battery storage, and EV charging solutions.
  4. Familiarity with UK Renewable Energy Policies.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Pattern:

40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 / Friday 08:00 - 16:00
