About the Opportunity
As a Business Development & Sales Volunteer, you will drive the adoption of our platform across UK care homes and domiciliary care providers. Your role will bridge the gap between our life-changing technology and the organizations that need it most, ensuring sustainable growth and real-world impact.

Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Identify high-potential care homes and domiciliary providers for platform adoption through demographic and needs-based analysis.
  • Outreach Strategy: Craft and execute outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) to engage decision-makers (e.g., care home managers, NHS procurement leads).
  • Partnership Building: Build relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating how Padocare solves pain points like inefficient record-keeping or compliance risks.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track prospects in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and move leads from discovery to pilot agreements.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored proposals highlighting ROI, security, and ease of adoption.
  • Feedback Loop: Share insights from care providers with product teams to refine platform features.
  • Grant & Funding Research: Identify opportunities for partnerships with NHS innovation funds or elder care nonprofits.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to articulate value to non-technical audiences.
  • Basic understanding of CRM tools or sales pipelines (experience is a plus, but not required).
  • No formal sales experience needed—enthusiasm and empathy matter most!
  • Passion for healthcare innovation, elderly care, or social impact technology.
  • Familiarity with UK healthcare or social care sectors is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and persist through rejection.

Duration

  • Time Commitment: 2–3 hours per day (flexible scheduling).
  • Project Length: 3 months (60 working days).
  • Location: Fully remote.
