Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)

6-month initial contract

Hybrid working - Coventry (3 days per week onsite)

Outside IR35, 40 hours per week

Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Renewable Energy market disruptor, innovating electrification for the automotive industry. Based in Coventry, they are seeking a SQA Lead to join their team.

Job Description

As SQA Lead, your main responsibilities are:

  • Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA)
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Launch Planning
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Documentation and Reporting

Qualifications / Skills needed

  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Quality Assurance, or Launch Planning within the battery or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and quality control processes.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management and launching new products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive or battery standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
