Role Overview:
As a Psychotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care to clients. You’ll work collaboratively with our team to create safe therapeutic spaces, applying person-centered, humanistic, and integrative approaches to support individuals on their healing journey. This role requires a deep belief in holistic and alternative healing modalities, a commitment to continuous personal growth, and a willingness to actively contribute to a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group psychotherapy sessions using person-centered, humanistic, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Incorporate knowledge of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work into therapeutic practice.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans focusing on mind-body-spirit healing.
- Engage in ongoing professional and personal development to remain aligned with best practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
- Support clients exploring psychedelic-assisted therapy (e.g., ketamine therapy) where appropriate.
- Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and the overall growth of the practice.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration to support the organization’s mission and goals.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in psychotherapy, psychology, or a related field (higher qualifications preferred).
- At least 2 years of practical experience as a psychotherapist.
- Registered with an accredited body (e.g., BACP, UKHCP, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience with person-centered, humanistic, trauma-informed, and IFS/parts work approaches.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- A strong belief in holistic healing practices and alternative approaches to mental health.
- An open-minded approach to psychedelic-assisted therapies and their potential benefits for mental health.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience or certification in ketamine-assisted therapy (training can be provided).
- Knowledge or interest in psychedelic therapy modalities.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment or a willingness to contribute proactively to an evolving organization.
