Family Law Solicitor in Northampton

Newstaff Employment is partnering with a highly respected law firm in Northampton to recruit a Family Law Solicitor to join their well-regarded Family Team. Whether you’re newly qualified or already working at the Senior Associate level, this firm is open to hearing from you if you’re confident, compassionate, and passionate about family law.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll manage a varied and sensitive caseload, supporting clients through some of the most important and challenging moments of their lives. Your work will cover:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial settlements and property matters
• Children matters, including contact and residence
• Trusts of Land (ToLATA) cases
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitation agreements
• Non-molestation and protection orders

If you’re joining at a more senior level, you’ll also play a part in mentoring and guiding junior members of the team — contributing to a collaborative, supportive working culture.

What we’re looking for:

• A qualified Family Solicitor (minimum 1 year PQE, up to Senior Associate level)
• Confidence managing your caseload independently
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic, client-focused approach
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
• A team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and contributing to team success
• Someone with a genuine passion for family law and a desire to build a long-term career
