Part Time - Maintenance Engineer

Commutable from Bedford, St Neots, Biggleswade, Sandy, Letchworth, Hitchin, Luton, Stevenage
£14 - £21 p/h + Overtime Available
8am - 5pm 2/3 days a week

Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of all machinery
- Fabrication work for new parts and continuous improvement
- Welding work is required
- A lot of the electrical work is plug and play
- Working with a variety of PLCs on site
- Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, motors, capping machines, fillers, pumps, and conveyors
- Assisting with installations of new equipment
- Ordering spares for the department
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Production and manufacturing experience
- Engineering qualification
- Ability to work independently
- PLC electrical fault-finding skills
