Part Time - Maintenance Engineer

Bedfordshire

Commutable from Bedford, St Neots, Biggleswade, Sandy, Letchworth, Hitchin, Luton, Stevenage
£14 - £21 p/h + Overtime Available

8am - 5pm 2/3 days a week

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of all machinery
  • Fabrication work for new parts and continuous improvement
  • Welding work is required
  • A lot of the electrical work is plug and play
  • Working with a variety of PLCs on site
  • Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, motors, capping machines, fillers, pumps, and conveyors
  • Assisting with installations of new equipment
  • Ordering spares for the department

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Production and manufacturing experience
  • Engineering qualification
  • Ability to work independently
  • PLC electrical fault-finding skills
