Role: Marketing Administrative Assistant
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000 p.a. + benefits
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm or Part time 3 days
Location: Commutable from Stockport, Greater Manchester, Altrincham, Pendlebury and surrounding areas

Our client is one of the UK’s leading building products manufacturers committed to building healthy solutions across the built environment.

The Marketing Administrative Assistant is to work closely and support the offline Marketing Team.

If you are looking for a position where you can get involved in aspects of marketing, including supporting marketing colleagues with new product launches and campaigns, updating company literature, and creating new label information signs that fall into the highly audited conforming processes, then this role could be for you!

This role could be a full-time 5 days a week or part-time 3 days a week and could suit someone returning to work after a period of maternity/paternity leave or someone with 1 to 2 years’ experience working in marketing and is ready for their next step.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the company’s external designer to update product literature to reflect the new branding and ensure product information is up to date. Ensure the necessary approvals are sought and that the process for updating literature is followed.
  • Update fixing instructions, product labeling, and packaging to reflect the latest branding. Ensure process is followed.
  • Support colleagues in writing posts and help generate new ideas for posts based on company activity and the wider calendar.
  • Help distribute advertising artwork and press releases to trade press, according to agreed media plans.
  • Help organise the company’s presence at trade show events and conferences including collating literature, stand materials, promotional items, etc.
  • Assist with the production of internal communications materials e.g. company newsletters.
  • Raise purchase orders, log orders to budget sheets, and book in work upon completion of projects. Resolve invoice queries where needed.

Requirements

  • One to two years working in a marketing department
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of event management
