The Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lens Service Technician to join our Technical Services team in Greenford, London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive environment, working on exciting and unique projects in the dynamic world of pre-production and entertainment.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the efficient repair and servicing of our extensive range of high-end camera lenses, including Cooke, Zeiss, Fujinon, Angeneiux, Leitz as well as our Panavision spherical and Anamorphic lenses.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of professional camera lenses.
• Liaise with clients, providing technical support and solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and utilise our systems to manage resources and priorities.
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ensure safe handling of equipment and chemicals.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven technical experience in servicing and repairing film/digital camera equipment.
• Strong knowledge of camera equipment specifications, applications, and repair procedures.
• Understanding of digital video systems.
• Experience with proper use of hand tools, workshop fixtures and materials.
• Proven experience of servicing a variety of cine lenses would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with strong computer literacy.
• High degree of accountability and ability to hold others accountable.
• You’ll be a team player, highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work on own initiative.
• You’ll be flexible in your approach to work and assignments, and able to adapt to changing situations.
