Base pay range

This is an opportunity for a Java Full Stack Engineer to make an impact at a leading digital consultancy, specialising in Cloud & Digital Transformations across a huge variety of sectors including utilities, telecoms, energy, and public sector.

Remote working with occasional visit to clients in London, Manchester, or Glasgow.

• Salary: £55,000 per annum + Additional Benefits
• Location: Remote with occasional client visits
• Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance (UK residency for at least 5 years)
• Sponsorship is not available for this role

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) for building microservices
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and tools such as GitHub/GitLab
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Comfortable working in an Agile team environment
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) or SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and best practices
• Experience building microservices in C#
• Knowledge of LLM integration (e.g., Vercel AI, Langchain)
• Experience working with the GOV.UK Design System and Nunjucks
