Job description

Join to apply for the CNC Machine Operator role at API Point of Sale.

At MSM aerospace fabricators, we have an exciting new opportunity available for level 3 or 4 CNC machine operator/setter to join our ever-growing team! Working on latest generation machines.

What We're Looking For
  • Excellent understanding of CNC machine operation setting & running.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety.
  • Experience in tool design & to aid efficiency.
  • Experience in programming.
  • Confidence in aligning with company objectives on quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Strong team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
  • Experienced in operating 3/4/5 axis milling and vertical & horizontal turning machines.
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment in an AS/ISO Quality environment.
  • The ideal candidates will preferably have aerospace experience.
  • For level 4 a recognised time-served apprenticeship is essential.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary £15.00 p/hr overtime at £22.50 p/hr (level 3).
  • Competitive salary £18.25 p/hr overtime at £27.38 p/hr (level 4).

Your Role
  • Responsible for the manufacturing of components through various milling & turning machines, working to fine limits.
  • Working with a variety of material incl. aluminium, Inconel, stainless steel and titanium.
  • Acting as an integral part of our team, offering guidance where needed and taking an adaptable approach to the role.
  • Permanent, full-time (37 hours per week).
