Automotive Mechanic Opportunity - Watford Area

Position: Automotive Mechanic / Vehicle Technician

Location: Watford Area (Exact location disclosed to shortlisted candidates)

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced Automotive Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing car supermarket with over 250+ used vehicles in stock.

The Role

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a key role in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service, diagnose and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
2. Conduct road tests when required to confirm and resolve faults
3. Mentor and support apprentice technicians to develop their skills
4. Maintain workshop space, tools, and equipment to a high standard

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience as a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician
2. Your own tools
3. A full and valid UK driving licence
4. Strong understanding of health and safety standards within a workshop setting

Desirable (but not essential):

1. MOT Tester qualification
2. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology

The Package

1. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (based on experience)
2. Hours:
3. Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 18:00
4. Saturday: 09:00 - 15:00
