MFL Teacher

We are seeking passionate and dedicated MFL Teachers to join dynamic teams at schools around Wood Green. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for languages, equipping them with valuable communication skills and cultural awareness. The successful candidate will teach [French/Spanish/German/Other] across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 if applicable), delivering engaging lessons that develop students' fluency, confidence, and understanding of the target language. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as an MFL Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Foster a love for languages and cultural understanding.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams (if applicable).
• Use a variety of engaging teaching strategies and resources.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support.
• Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and extracurricular activities (e.g. language clubs, trips abroad).

Ideal MFL Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Languages, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience or enthusiasm for teaching [French/Spanish/German/Other] at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an MFL Teacher.
• A passion for language learning and cultural exchange.
