We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join an outstanding school in Stevenage on a temporary-to-permanent basis starting in January. Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 for candidates with relevant experience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that develop students' language skills, cultural awareness, and passion for French. Additionally, you will support curriculum planning and contribute to language-focused extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, effective lessons that cater to diverse abilities
• Assess, track, and report on student progress according to school policies
• Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and promote a positive language-learning environment
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages students to excel
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as language clubs, trips, and cultural events

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in French or a related subject. Experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4 is essential, with KS5 experience considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a passion for French language and culture and be committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
