Job Title: Governance & Risk Analyst

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £35,802 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performing strategic reporting, monitoring & trend analysis
  • Undertaking risk management to support the SF&I (Site Facilities & Infrastructure) function
  • Supporting assurance plans to meet the needs of customers and that financial and compliance regulations are achieved
  • Consolidating expertise from multiple sources, including third party experts, to provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives
  • Supporting and promoting the development and sharing of specialist knowledge within the organisation

Your skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience working within Governance, Assurance or Risk
  • Ability to support the implementation of appropriate risk management techniques
  • Ability to problem solve in both established and new business environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Packages (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

The People Capability / Governance & Assurance team (Site & Facilities):

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team working with BAE Systems SF&I and other stakeholders. The team support the developing and implementing the governance, reporting & assurance strategy for the infrastructure function, as well as establishing the strategic risks and responsibilities for management and mitigation through their lifecycle. This role is vital for creating business continuity and resilience plans, ensuring that BAE’s infrastructure systems effectively support the timely, quality, cost-effective, and safe delivery of projects.
