L3 Forklift Driver - Trainee, Clandeboye

Our Clandeboye site is one of Fonterra’s largest sites, employing over 1000 people. It is also home to one of the biggest dryers in the world, capable of producing 28 metric tonnes of whole milk powder every hour. During peak season our Clandeboye site processes up to 13 million litres of milk every day.

About the opportunity | Mō tēnei tūranga

As a forklift operator at Clandeboye, you’ll be using modern technology to keep the stores running smoothly. Your great attitude along with your attention to detail will mean our stores will stay well organised and the right products will get out on schedule.

Duties include:

• Loading and unloading products
• Quality control and cleaning
• Computer operation
• Heavy lifting
• Packing export & domestic containers
• De-vanning containers

With a strong health and safety focus, you’ll ensure everyone goes home safe every day. You will also need:

• Full NZ drivers licence with OSH certification and F endorsement
• Food manufacturing experience
• Bar-coding, data entry, and sacking experience would be preferred
• Experience driving 5 tonne and electric forklifts
• Continuous improvement experience
