Job Description
TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is representing a Maidstone-based firm of chartered accountants who are searching for an Accounts Assistant/Accounts Semi Senior to join their team as a key addition. As you develop within this firm and role, you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands-on capacity, delivering statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, and tax services to a range of key clients within the firm. This is a great opportunity to complete your AAT qualification, if you're still studying, and then move on to either the ACA or ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies for Director review
• General bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Prepare Corporate and personal tax returns

Requirements

• AAT Qualified or studying ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
• Experience with a variety of accounting software
• Strong communication/relations skills
• 3+ years accountancy practice experience

Benefits

• £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
