Base pay range

Madison Berkeley have partnered with a privately owned Property Company with property assets of circa £200 million spread across circa 50 assets. The portfolio is UK wide with a main interest in London.

My client is looking for a Commercial Property Manager to support a Senior Property Manager to provide day-to-day management for the London & Regional portfolio with a specific interest in the City of London.

The assets include Grade A offices, shopping centres, mixed retail developments, industrial, and a small amount of residential. Some of the assets are notable developments in the City of London.

Key Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for handling tenant problems & undertake regular property inspections, complete and process inspection forms, and take action on any defects or other matters identified.
  • To appoint and manage all contractor instructions for repairs and maintenance of the properties.
  • Prepare and implement all service charge budgets for properties the post holder manages and monitor and report on expenditure - both planned and unplanned expenditure and assist with service charge reconciliation at year end.
  • To liaise on a regular basis with Asset Manager and Building Services and take guidance from Property Director for actions on lease activity, such as new leases, lease renewals, rent reviews, assignment instructions, licences for alterations, and forfeiture of leases.

A suitable candidate for this position will have around 2 years of Commercial Property Management experience & an understanding of the Landlord & Tenant Act.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an up-and-coming surveyor looking to move into an established Property Investor.
