About the role
Swoop is looking for a strategic, creative, and organised content specialist to take ownership of content creation across all channels, with a particular emphasis on social media and data-driven storytelling.
You’ll lead the planning, production, and execution of content that:
- Builds brand equity
- Generates traffic and sign-ups
- Delivers hard-hitting, publishable stories using internal data
You will manage and mentor our Social Media & Video Content Assistant, collaborating across the wider Campaign Creators team and working closely with the Global Campaigns Manager. This role requires someone with a sharp editorial eye, a growth mindset, and the ability to turn ideas into engaging, impactful content, with hooks and features to retain attention throughout.
There’s strong potential for this role to evolve into a Content Lead, owning and scaling Swoop’s cross-channel content strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a structured content calendar aligned to campaign and business goals.
- Research trends, analyse Swoop’s data, and monitor competitors to generate fresh content ideas.
- Write, brief, or oversee the creation of content across social, video, and email.
- Develop video content strategies—especially for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook—with an eye for viral, engaging formats.
- Explore and introduce AI-driven tools to boost creative efficiency and production quality.
- Maintain brand consistency by collaborating with the Campaign Creators team and overseeing editorial style and tone.
Performance tracking & optimisation
- Build and monitor reports on content performance (engagement, reach, conversion).
- Work with the Global Campaigns Manager to build HubSpot dashboards and track content ROI.
- Develop and roll out a retargeting strategy, ensuring Swoop visitors and engaged users are continuously nurtured.
- Stay ahead of best practices in organic social, conversion-driven content, and performance optimisation.
- Collaborate with the Advisor team to improve Advisor showcase pages.
- Work with the SEO team to develop content that supports landing page engagement and CRO.
- Support cross-functional campaigns in collaboration with Product Marketing, SEO, Paid Media, and Partnerships.
- Manage and develop the skills of the Social Media & Video Content Assistant, ensuring aligned output and quality growth.
Success metrics
- Lead generation – Number of leads generated through social and content-driven campaigns
- Revenue impact – Revenue attributed to content (tracked via HubSpot/CRM)
- Engagement growth – Social media reach, shares, comments, and interactions
- Retargeting performance – Conversion rates from content-based retargeting
- Content calendar execution – A well-organised, consistently updated calendar
- Team collaboration – Strong partnership with internal stakeholders and your direct report
- Data-driven storytelling – Frequency and quality of content informed by internal insights
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in revenue-driving content creation, preferably in B2B, fintech, or SaaS
- Deep understanding of social platforms and what performs on each
- Strong writing, briefing, and editorial skills
- Experience using or knowledge in tools like HubSpot, Slack, Canva, Figma, ChatGPT or other creative/AI software
- A self-starter with the ability to work cross-functionally, globally, and manage multiple projects
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, creative team environment
