Locum GP Required for Traditional Practice near Shrewsbury.
Dream Medical is urgently seeking a Locum GP to cover shifts for a client of ours in Central Shropshire this coming August. The Surgery in question is a small dispensary practice with a total of 3000 patients catering to the local community. The surgery is ideally located with fantastic transport links where you will also join a small and friendly team.
The shifts will be both AM and PM on the days required - AM shifts will be designated for the surgery's walk-in clinic which runs in the mornings and the PM shifts will cover seeing patients with pre-booked 15 minute appointments.
To qualify for this position you must have previous UK experience as a Locum or Salaried GP and be on a performers list with a full, unrestricted GMC. Along with all other aspects of primary care services, you will be expected to:
- Make professional, autonomous decisions
- Provide medical advice for minor injuries and appropriate illnesses
- Support other members of the clinical team
- Complete administrative duties including authorising prescriptions, dealing with queries and completing any relevant paperwork.
