Job Title: Social Media Executive & Meme Lord (Hybrid Role)

Salary: Starting from £20,000 up to £40,000 depending on experience and meme mastery.

Experience: Open to all levels – whether you’re a seasoned digital marketer or a meme-loving newbie eager to learn.

Qualifications: No formal qualifications required – from school leavers to PhDs, we welcome all applicants.

Location: Manchester based - 1 to 2 days per week candidate must work from Sowerby Bridge, 30 minutes from Manchester by train for creative meetings and team building.

About the Role:

Are you a meme connoisseur who can whip out witty comebacks faster than a TikTok trend dies? Can you craft spicy content that gets people talking, sharing, and tagging their mates? Well, look no further because we’re on the hunt for THE Meme Lord & Social Media Executive. Your role? Simple. Help us build viral campaigns that make our clients go from “meh” to meme royalty.

Responsibilities:

  1. Master the Art of Meme Creation: Help brands craft viral-worthy, laugh-inducing content that gets people double-tapping and tagging.
  2. Trend-Sniffing: Stay ahead of the curve by catching trends early, then twisting them into golden marketing moments.
  3. Post and Roast: Manage and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook) and, when necessary, serve some spicy comebacks in the comments section.
  4. Meme-fessional: Whether it’s a Twitter thread, Instagram story, or TikTok dance – you’ll know how to make it pop with humor and creativity.
  5. Digital Engagement: Write clever replies, respond to DMs, and engage with followers like a pro, keeping things light, fun, and on-brand.
  6. Humorous Campaigns: Plan and execute fun and creative marketing campaigns for blue-chip clients that aren’t afraid to get a little meme-y.
  7. Work with Influencers: Outreach to influencers and meme-lords across platforms to amplify the client’s content.
  8. Keep the World Laughing: Use AI tools, real-time trending data, and meme magic to keep brands at the heart of the conversation.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. A meme aficionado with a top-tier sense of humour.
  2. Someone who can thrive in a hybrid role, managing their time efficiently from both the office and home.
  3. Quick on their feet with real-time responses and content.
  4. Excellent writing skills, sharp wit, and an understanding of how to make people laugh while staying on-brand.
  5. Understanding of social media tools (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, etc.) and experience with creating viral content.
  6. Creative ideas and meme-worthy content ideas that don’t just fit into a box – they break the box.
  7. A basic understanding of AI tools and digital marketing trends.
