Luxury Worldwide Travel Consultant - Homebased UK Wide

Salary and benefits: Up to £28,000 plus generous bonus scheme & excellent benefits.
Contract length: Permanent, Full time.
Locations: UK wide and home-based.

Selling a variety of mid and long haul, luxury worldwide holidays, successful candidates will delight in offering exceptional levels of service, working to convert calls and other sources/leads into holiday bookings. You’ll use your excellent destination knowledge and previous experience of dynamic packaging to put together the best holiday to match your customer’s needs, ensuring their holiday exceeds their expectations.

Previous experience of selling mid and long haul luxury travel is essential for the role and experience using a GDS would be an advantage but not essential. Role of Luxury Worldwide Travel Consultant:

1. Tailor-making holiday packages to long haul destinations
2. Identifying customer needs through effective questioning
3. Booking all aspects of travel including multi-sector itineraries
4. Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
5. Delivering high levels of customer service and build a repeat customer base
6. Maximising all sales opportunities to achieve and exceed against targets

Skills required for the role:

1. A minimum of three years recent long haul, luxury sales/reservations experience within the travel sector - essential
2. Excellent worldwide product knowledge - personal travel experience is an advantage
3. Ability to tailor-make/dynamically package
4. Self-motivated and target driven
5. Exceptional customer service skills
6. Able to commit to full-time hours on a rota basis, to include weekends and evenings
