CHEF/BAKER ASSISSTANT

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a genuine love for baking.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and bake a wide range of products including Croissants, Breads, Pattisseries, Pastries, Cakes, etc.
2. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
3. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the baking process.
4. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of baked goods to customers.
6. Keep the baking area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.
7. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
8. Team player is a must; always help each other equally.

Qualifications

1. Certificates and experience evidence are required with the CV.
2. Proven experience in a bakery or culinary environment is a must.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
4. Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
6. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
7. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality baked goods.
8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as required.
