Your role

Are you interested in large, multi-asset and complex data sets? Are you an innovative thinker? Do you want to become an integral part of our quantitative investment strategies business?

We're looking for a quantitative analyst to:

  1. work closely with the QIS business to understand the data requirements in detail and expand market data coverage in kdb+
  2. contribute to the strategic kdb+ platform and drive its implementation across QIS
  3. maintain and extend the environment as appropriate to ensure stability, robustness and performance

Your team

You'll be working in the QIS data team in London. We provide data and analytics to support and expand the QIS product offering to clients.

Your expertise

  1. ideally 7-10 years of data experience within the finance sector utilizing kdb+
  2. previous exposure to high-volume data sets across equities, fixed income, fx, futures and options
  3. proficient in kdb+, linux and vendor market data products
  4. self-driven, organized and detail-oriented with a solid understanding of capital markets and banking industry
  5. bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, physics or engineering
