A Waltham Forest, London Primary School is seeking a Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant to join them either in December 2024 or January 2025 for a long-term contract. This is a full-time role with the view of becoming permanent!
As a Primary School SEN Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest, you'll play an integral role in supporting children's academic and social development. You'll ensure they feel confident and capable in the classroom every day, presenting willingness to use your skills to make a positive impact on their needs.
You will be working closely with SEN children, tailoring support to them, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that accompanies student growth, and collaborating with teachers and staff to develop individualized learning strategies.
To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN. Experience in a classroom setting is highly beneficial, as is a good understanding of different SEN, such as autism, dyslexia, or emotional and behavioral difficulties.
