Job description

We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant in a school setting so a DBS check is required for this role.

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10.00 to 14.00

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

  • To prepare, cook and serve school meals.
  • To be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within food preparation areas.
  • To always operate in a safe manner, observing company health and safety and allergen policies and guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Catering and Standards
  • Prepare and cook food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned procedures at all times.
  • Be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered.
  • Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times.
  • Undertake training as necessary to maintain the requirements of the contract.
