Job Title: Home Manager (Complex Care)
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + Performance-Based Bonus
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Home Manager to lead and manage a large, complex care home in West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Home Manager with experience managing a large home or having worked at a regional level overseeing services with complex needs.

As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and leadership. You will be a strong, visible leader who can drive quality improvements, manage staff effectively, and maintain a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring high-quality care for residents with complex needs.

  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to the staff team, fostering a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability.

  • Oversee clinical governance, care delivery, and safeguarding procedures.

  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial and operational efficiency.

  • Drive continuous quality improvements within the home to enhance resident experience and care outcomes.

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

  • Monitor and assess service performance, implementing necessary changes to achieve outstanding standards.

Requirements
  • Nurse-qualified - Active NMC registration is essential.

  • Proven experience as a Home Manager in a large and complex care environment OR previous regional-level experience.

  • A strong, visible leader with excellent management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance, and clinical governance.

  • Experience in managing large teams and complex operational challenges.

  • A track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving strong regulatory outcomes.

  • Financial and budgetary management experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
