Core3 is thrilled to announce an exclusive recruitment opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join our client's finance team. The Senior Finance Manager will have 4-6 direct reports that are all managers.

How you'll make an impact?

The Management Accounting & Financial Reporting team ensures the business receives accurate, timely, and insightful management accounts. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a UK subject matter expert, stepping in for the Head of Accounting and Reporting Manager when needed and contributing to the team's operational excellence, leadership, and innovation.

1. Act as the UK authority on Management Accounting & Financial Reporting.
2. Offer expert technical advice on complex financial challenges.
3. Implement and maintain a strong control framework to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records and processes.
4. Provide exceptional stakeholder support, delivering seamless end-to-end financial services.
5. Collaborate with the Accounting and Reporting Manager to ensure management accounts and financial reports are delivered on time, accurately, and efficiently.
6. Manage month-end closing activities for designated functions or business areas, ensuring compliance with internal and group reporting requirements.
7. Engage proactively with projects impacting accounting workflows, identifying potential risks and aligning processes with industry best practices.
8. Drive change by developing compelling business cases and influencing senior decision-makers across financial and operational teams.
9. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to align with the organization's changing business landscape.
10. Support and guide Team Leaders, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging professional development.
11. Empower team members to grow by providing tailored coaching and development opportunities.
12. Build a versatile, cross-functional team of experts to address critical dependencies and streamline operations.

Why our Client is excited about you

1. Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA/ACA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
2. Strong management accounting expertise with a deep understanding of risk and control processes.
3. Experience managing teams is a must.
