NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a school based in Bradford (BD8) for Head of Department (History). The school is seeking a dynamic Head of Department to lead, inspire, and manage their History department.

The school is seeking a HOD with a proven track record of success in improving standards and solid experience in a middle leadership role. The role of History Subject Lead is ideal for an experienced teacher who has the ability to develop a curriculum that can be suited to every type of learner within the school.

The school is part of a local multi-academy trust that holds high standards, strong behaviour management policies, and is rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.

Requirements:

1. A degree in History
2. Qualified Teaching status
3. Middle management experience
4. Ability to teach to GCSE standards
5. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
6. 2x professional references
7. Right to work in the UK
