The Role

As an Enterprise Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust integration solution for master data distribution from SAP to multiple channel systems. This role is crucial in enabling seamless data flows across physical stores, e-commerce platforms, and external partners using various integration patterns such as bulk loads, delta loads, synchronous/asynchronous transactions, and event-driven architectures. As part of a multi-year transformation program, the architect will drive the definition of transition states, end-state architecture, and interim integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in handling high-volume master data.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to define integration requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Design the integration architecture for SAP Master Data (Product, Price, Range, Promotion, etc.) distribution across multiple channels.
• Define transition states and end-state architectures, ensuring smooth migration across project phases and taking ongoing wider SAP initiatives into consideration.
• Evaluate and recommend integration technologies, including SAP BTP, Axway, and Azure Integration Services.
• Lead the end-to-end integration architecture design, selecting appropriate integration technology components and patterns.
• Present designs in governance forums and obtain necessary approvals.
• Work with development teams to implement APIs, application connectors, and integration flows using SAP Integration Suite, Axway, and Azure Integration Services.
• Own the high-level design and implementation of SAP integration projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and enterprise standards.
• Oversee end-to-end integration implementations, ensuring successful delivery through all project phases, from initial planning to go-live.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Proven experience in SAP integration, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Master Data Management.
• Strong expertise in designing data integration solutions from SAP landscapes to various channels such as physical stores, e-commerce, and third-party partners.
• Deep knowledge of integration architecture patterns, including APIs, batch integration, synchronous/asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, Axway, Azure Integration Services.
• Experience in designing and delivering integrations using SAP BTP, iPAAS platforms (e.g. Mulesoft, Dell Boomi) on public cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Strong understanding of integration asset lifecycle management, including solution architecture, technical documentation, and system design artifacts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
• Hands-on experience with SAP interface technologies (SAP Gateway, RFC/BAPI, IDoc) and commonly used adapters such as AS2, File, sFTP, Mail, REST, SOAP, HTTPS, ODATA, JDBC, XI, MDM, and JMS.
• Experience in Retail domain and integrations with E-Commerce systems.
• Familiarity with SAP RISE, Azure, and AWS.
