Senior Platform Architect - SC Cleared

I'm currently on the lookout for a Platform Solution Architect to join a leading defence-focused technology consultancy where you will lead the design and implementation of complex platform solutions for a large-scale technical refresh project for a government defence organization. Managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance, using Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead platform architecture design, configuration, and specification.
• Ensure best practices in Agile (SCRUM, Kanban) and DevOps (CI/CD, containerization) are followed.
• Provide technical consultancy, working with clients on technology choices and solutions.
• Develop high- and low-level technical designs and manage deployment in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Mentor and support team members, particularly early-career professionals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and oversee project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Expertise in DevOps practices, security principles, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in designing enterprise IT systems and creating technical requirements for cloud-native applications.
• Ability to influence and lead teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.

Salary for this position is up to £95,000 + Bonus
