Job description

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a prestigious further educational colleges to help employ an experienced electrical installation professional on a full-time temp and perm basis for their Electrical Installation lecturer role. Position: Electrical Installation Lecturer
Location: Corby and Bedford

Pay:
Temporary: Up to £40 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella options available)
Permanent: Up to £44,000 per annum, with additional perks and benefits
Workdays: 5 days per week
Interview Date: Asap
Start Date: Immediate or after notice period

The Electrical Installation lecturer will be responsible for:

  1. Liaising with the other members of the department and Curriculum Manager to facilitate efficient delivery of the curriculum.
  2. Planning, designing and delivering learning programmes/sessions and facilitating learning in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment and accreditation.
  3. Monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality and effectiveness of learning programmes, sessions, and own practice.

The Electrical Installation lecturer will need to have:

  1. Teaching qualification - PTLLS or DTLLS or Cert Ed.
  2. Recent experience of working in an educational/learning environment.
  3. Experience in a lecturer or technician role.
  4. The ability to liaise with staff and people at all levels (internal and external).
  5. Flexibility and responsiveness to working hours, patterns, and arrangements.
