Overview:
Reaseheath College is a forward-thinking and dynamic College providing an excellent educational experience to over 4,500 students a year. Situated within the grounds of the College is the Reaseheath Mini Zoo and Animal Management Centre which is used by students and open to the public during school holidays and at weekends.
About the role
We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Zoo Manager who can take responsibility for the Reaseheath Mini Zoo and support across the Animal Management Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to oversee the Zoo provision, staffing and resources whilst ensuring the Zoo is accessible to both student learners and the public during non-term time.
As well as managing the College Zoo provision, the Zoo Manager will play a fundamental part in developing the zoo education programme to support other members of staff across the Animal Management Centre to develop a high-quality curriculum for our student learners.

The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
