Purpose of Position
Our People Administration Manager is looking for an experienced and motivational People Administrator Team Leader to join their high performing team. This role will be based at our head office in Smethwick and will be offered on a hybrid basis of office and home working.
Your primary responsibility will be to supervise, support, and coach the People Administration Team and to ensure the function’s SLA’s are met with regards to all relevant components of People and Talent.
Key Tasks / Areas of Responsibility
Supervise the day-to-day work allocation of the People Administration Team and re-allocate workload support where required.
Check and sign off work produced by the People Administration team prior to issue.
Coach and support the People Administration Team in understanding the processes and procedures.
Produce a monthly report to the People Administration Manager of SLA and RFT performance.
Be accountable for producing a high level of proactive customer service to all internal and external customers.
Lead, motivate, and inspire the team in the development of continuous improvement by identifying ‘focus’ areas.
Provide feedback to the People Administration Manager on current processes and procedures to assist with best practice and continuous improvement.
Be a key member in introducing, implementing, and embedding all People and Talent Projects and initiatives.
Develop the skills and knowledge of Senior Administrators to cover for the Team Leader in periods of absence, i.e., meetings and annual holiday.
Support the People Administration Manager where necessary.
Key Measures of Performance
Overall quality of administration provided by the function.
Quality of response to general enquiries.
Understanding of, and involvement within the day-to-day running of People Administration.
Improvement in processes and systems.
Achieving set KPIs.
Accuracy of data presented on which to make strategic decisions.
