Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sr Talent Acquisition professional to join the London Stock Exchange Group, partnering with our Engineering Division to attract the very best talent to LSEG.

You will be responsible for partnering directly with engineering hiring managers to establish sourcing and attraction strategies to deliver high calibre engineering talent and build high performing teams. We’re enjoying a period of significant growth, so this role will also be responsible for building a proactive, forward looking talent pipelines and continued development and promotion of the LSEG employment brand through multiple channels.

Role Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and attracting the very highest calibre engineering talent to LSEG
2. Partnering with hiring managers to develop a sourcing strategy for each role, ensuring regular communication and updates through the hiring journey
3. Ensuring standardization of engineering hiring processes and procedures
4. Ensuring quality of candidate and hiring manager experience through each hiring process
5. Developing and maintaining diverse talent pipelines in line with the businesses current and future requirements
6. Develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to sourcing and candidate management – including developing direct sourcing channels, employee referrals, advertising and other methods. Creativity is encouraged!
7. Partner closely with central sourcing team including market mapping and market intelligence data
8. Implement an internet and social media strategy campaign, evaluate funding sources and make proposals to ensure LSEG is appropriately positioned in the region
9. Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess efficiency of recruiting programs and talent hired
10. Ensuring data integrity, having 100% of all applications recorded on Workday and accurate reporting and metrics
11. Ensuring a high quality and consistent approach to job descriptions and job adverts, including providing training and mentorship to hiring managers
12. Partner with all divisions to leverage relationships across the company
13. Providing strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and salaries across the region
14. Be an advocate for our Inclusive Hiring practices
15. Participating and owning ad-hoc TA projects

Experience and Qualifications Required

1. Significant experience as a talent acquisition specialist within Engineering (Technology)
2. In depth understanding of hiring technical roles and knowledge of various tech stacks i.e. Java, Snowflake, C++, Cloud, SDN
3. Proven track record of being able to source and hire directly using ATS platforms (e.g. Beamery) and external sources (e.g. LinkedIn)
4. Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and informative advice, and consistent delivery
5. Strong business acumen with a commercial/pragmatic approach
6. Understanding and experience of cultural differences and their impact on business and organizational dynamics
7. Effective oral and written communication skills when taking care of management and employees at various organization levels, including senior management
8. Strong influencing and negotiating skills
9. Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization
10. Ability to take care of ambiguous and fluid situations
11. Innovative and creative thinking
12. Ability to build strong credibility with business leaders across the company
13. Effective consulting skills in working with managers in setting recruiting expectations, developing an effective sourcing strategy and evaluating candidates
14. Ability to use technology optimally and efficiently to manage workload
