Design Manager (Support)

Location: Cambridge

Pay Rate: £29 per hour

Working Hours: 40 hrs per week - Mon - Fri - Start Time 7am

We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Design Manager to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  1. 8-years working in a Design Manager role for a Tier 1 Main Contractor in UK.
  2. Experience in engaging with Third Parties and robust coordination and recording of information exchanges.
  3. Experience in extensive coordination and liaison with teams to provide combined and consolidated project reporting and submissions.
  4. Experience in use of BIM modelling software to support design coordination via BIM Coordinator.
  5. Experience in delivering projects with a BREEAM Excellent rating.
  6. Degree qualified in a technical subject appropriate for role - required to demonstrate competence to Building Safety Regulator as part of approvals under Building Safety Act.
  7. Professionally chartered to a body appropriate for role - required to demonstrate competence to Building Safety Regulator as part of approvals under Building Safety Act.
  8. Site based 4-days per week, with flexibility for 1 working from home day - ideally someone within 1 hour of travelling distance to Cambridge.
