Position: SEN Teaching Assistant, Hillingdon
Pay: 85-100 per day
Availability: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Start Date: Immediate

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Supporting students across four key areas of need:
    • Communication and interaction
    • Cognition and learning
    • Social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
    • Sensory and/or physical needs
  • Working closely with class teachers and therapy teams to help students achieve their goals.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with various needs, including mild to severe learning difficulties, Autism, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

What Are We Looking For?

  • A genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
  • Previous experience in SEN (advantageous but not required).
  • Training in PECS, Makaton, manual handling, or hoisting (preferred but not essential).
  • Adaptability, self-motivation, and the ability to take initiative.
