As Assistant Director of Sales, you will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through account management and sales channels. An Assistant Director of Sales will work to develop the conference and events pipeline and drive a high-performing sales team. Previous experience in the MICE Market is essential. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Conversion: Support the conversion of a multi-million pound pipeline, driving substantial revenue growth.
  • Portfolio Development: Expand and nurture a portfolio of Large Group Conference & Event Accounts to generate new and repeat business for the hotel.
  • Repeat Business: Secure repeat bookings for groups, congresses, and seminars through strong collaboration with the Group, Conference & Events Team.
  • Strategize and Execute: Develop and manage comprehensive hotel sales and marketing plans that align with business objectives, driving targeted sales efforts across all market segments.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Partner with the Senior Management Team to pinpoint and enhance areas of the business needing extra support, ensuring focused and effective activities.
  • Innovative Contributions: Play a key role in shaping company-wide sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring impactful national and international sales activities.
  • Performance Reporting: Help prepare monthly presentations on the proactive sales team's contributions, focus, and activities to hotel owners and the senior management team.
  • Cross-Departmental Synergy: Work closely with Reservations and the Banqueting Department to craft exceptional guest experiences and robust, comprehensive sales programs.
