Project Opportunity: Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing Learning Designer (Articulate Rise)
Company Description
At Accessible Me Ltd, we believe that accessibility goes beyond compliance by creating opportunities and driving innovation. Our mission is to empower organisations to remove accessibility barriers, ensuring that everyone can learn, train, and achieve their potential. We work with businesses, educators, and organisations to improve digital accessibility, deliver engaging training, develop inclusive workplace strategies, and create accessible digital content. By doing so, we aim to create a future where disability never limits opportunity.
Role Description
Accessible Me is seeking a Deaf or hard-of-hearing learning designer with experience in Articulate Rise to support the development of a one-time, project-based eLearning series on deaf-friendly homes. This is a freelance/project-based engagement (not a full- or part-time role). That said — successful collaborators may be considered for future accessibility and eLearning projects within our growing team.
About the Project
We’re creating ~8 microlearning modules to help estate agents and property professionals better understand, sell, and adapt homes for deaf individuals and families.
You’ll be provided with detailed lesson plans (what will be taught, not how) and will take the lead on:
Graphic/video design is handled elsewhere — but if that’s also in your skillset, let us know!
Who We’re Looking For
Payment Terms:
Paid at the end of each month after module delivery (though we’re open to milestone-based payment structure if preferred)
We’re building content that reflects lived experience — so we’re actively seeking Deaf creators to help shape how this knowledge is shared.
